Okay, from this angle and with your skill, the new design looks more promising. Perhaps the tiny eyes problem is just a matter of lighting and perspective. I'll wait until I see him in action to make a final judgement about this new look.

Not sure how I feel about this "new" godzilla movie.. After the last one. What with Godzilla only geTTING 5 MINUTES OF SCREEN TIME.
even though that was Legendary's doing, still doesn't mean that Toho Lmt. won't draw from that..

My first movie out of the whole Godzilla series was the film from '84, I watch it with my yet to be uncle who would also take me to go see Zilla '98. Anyways I had no idea what to expect from Godzilla, but here was the description I was told. "Godzilla is a giant lizard who destroys cities and people try to shoot him but don't work like if he was a robot." The 6 year old in me was like "AWESOME, That sounds so cool." And soon after he put in the VHS tape of Godzilla '84. I watched and watched until I saw Godzilla, only thing I really wanted to see. And then we get to the Nuclear Power Plant scene, and right when we saw the foot of Godzilla doing that scroll up to the creature's head, giving me a full view of what Godzilla was, and then I see Godzilla's face, and all that went in my mind was fear. That look in Godzilla was the most frightening thing I ever saw. I even recall imagining Godzilla laughing during the jet attack scene.
You might be asking, "Why share this and what is your point?" I share this because when I saw the poster of Godzilla, all I thought was "Fear." The way the facial structure is, as well as the design of the teeth. If done right, I think this Godzilla may very well top the fear experience I once had when I first got into the series.
