After repeated underground nuclear testing, the mighty MAGMALODON was unleashed on the surface world! Descended from a shark-like species that evolved to survive in lava rather than water, Magmalodon's burning fury will set the world ablaze. Some wonder if he is taking revenge for mankind's abuse of the Earth, while others wonder if he is merely a rampaging brute, incompatible with our modern surface world. Either way, Magmalodon is here, and he's MAD.

One of the environment artists did, yeah. On top of that Kaiju aren't mainstream, so projects like that generally falter.

Anyone else see this and instantly think: "Street Sharks"? Or am I the only one that remembers that TMNT ripoff from the 90s?
Anywho, if the Street Sharks had looked this awesome, it probably would have been easier to ignore it's somewhat blatant copycatting of my beloved puberty stricken, mutant, turtley martial art masters.

Cool design - I like the rocky skin and the design on the tail. The webbed hands are close enough to fins to feel appropriate for the creature.Β

Shark Boy AND Lava Girl! Love the contrast between the dark blue and the hot reds and oranges, and the flow from the magma illuminating his throat.

When I saw this guy and the name Magmalodon in the game's box I imagined it's a lava shark monster, and I was right! I love the design! the colors are fittable and I like a lot the orange tone you chose for the lava in his body!
