Day 25 of MonsterMarch, I bring you my second drawing that depicts Godzilla as a real animal or dinosaur, this time with some changes. Most of the design is the same, the tail is the biggest difference, the one on the top is with a crocodile like tail while the one on the bottom has a thicker more muscular tail with large spikes to form a fluke shape to help it swim in the ocean better. I took more inspiration from the Delgadosaurus and Stan Winston Godzilla design, both are unused concept designs for the cancelled 1994 Godzilla vs The Gryphon. Combining it with the upright posture of the Therizinosaurus, the more muscular build of the Tyrannosaurus rex model from the Field Museum, and the interpretation of the Godzilla design I made, here’s the final design in its full glory. Expect more drawings of this guy in the future.
