Description
Well, looks like I took two in a row... Though part of me wished I took a different direction with it. There were some things that came to my attention after the matter, but eh, what can you do? No use in crying over spilled milk, as they say.Either way, nice to see Orochi get some action after agesΒ of inactivity--even if the match itself is short.

Here's a idea
Godzilla (legendary) and/or Godzilla (Reiwa) Vs Orochi (heisei)
Location: Toyama bay
Just when Orochi was about to turn back into his human foam, He senses another godzilla coming his way. Only this godzilla is more powerful then heisei goji

Honestly, aside from the match being meh, the banner is... ok. Find the splash effects off, as well as the tail. And the fire breath doesnβt look too good.
not the worst banner, but could have been better.

The "splash" effects were meant to be ice... Like frozen over water. Though I should've created a trail behind Godzilla. Or even better, just made a whole new banner with a better dynamic. This one is not my best one.

Oh, didnt realized that it was ice.
Not to mention, I believe you forgot to make Orochiβs eye lightning red.

The lightning was sadly a limitation of the PNG I used. Tried my hardest to make it read, but nothing was coming out right. So I just left it as is.

Ah, understandable.

Can't say I liked this one, I think something as epic as Godzilla vs Orochi should have honestly been one of those matches that felt like a Godzilla movie. I personally would have made it a lengthy cataclysmic fight that either ended with Godzilla the victor (as cliche as that is) or a draw.Β
Instead it was just another "look I made Godzilla die for the sake of edginess" type of match which I'm getting very sick of these days. I'll admit it's the Godzilla fanboy in me, I don't like seeing him die horribly just to make a match dark, if he's gonna die he should take his foe down with him. AndΒ he shouldn't be referred to as pathetic.Β Β
Hell it's not even that I take issue with him losing every once in awhile, I thoroughly enjoyed Match 240, but that was also purposefully a David vs Goliath match, but that was also enjoyable becuse his loss was done in a tasteful manner...and he did'nt die. It made it almost feel like a genuine Godzilla and the Last Dinosaur crossover, and I loved that.
But that's just my opinion, I'm not gonna tell people what they should and should not write. But I would like to see matches with Godzilla that a bit more wholesome and interesting again.Β

Yeah, this one was just more written on the kick of the curb than anything else. It was an older match from a couple years ago, and it shows. I do agree with your sentiments in that something like Godzilla vs. Orochi should've been handled with more grandeur and spectacle from the get-go; and maybe I should've enforced that? Then again, the me of then and the me of now are two separate folks, so not much can be done there. Objectively, it doesn't break any rules, so it gets a pass. Just didn't take the opportunity to take advantage of its narrative. It is nice to see Orochi get a match and a win.
Oh sweet! I'm honestly glad you really enjoyed 240. That was an incredibly fun match to write. The funny thing is, I think I would've let Godzilla win had I known that the other Godzillasaurus matches were going to give him so many wins before retirement.

I suppose it's nice to see Orochi do...well anything, he's been sorley underused in the K.W.C. You'd think a kaiju like him would get much more usages.
Godzillasaurus did get an almost freakish amount of wins before he retired. It's kind of amusing his last match was actually one were (or she in that case) died horribly XD.

Agreed. Added some abilities that, while somewhat loose, are at least present in the film. Make the character more manageable and fun, because there is potential. Though it would have to be a more proper narrative KWC as opposed to fight and done.
Yeah, that was something of a mistake... At the time we decided to make the announcement that Gsaurus would retired a month in advance--NOT a good idea in hindsight, lmao. But that explains why he had the weird surge of matches before kicking the bucket.

Kinda like me when I heard that poor Daigoro and Goliath are gonna get retired, like I tried to come up and write as many matches as I can for the two. XD
Because hey, I have a soft spot for those two and I still donβt see why we need to retire them if were not gonna add anymore tv monsters or keep the underused monsters like Orochi, Iris or Black Moth in.

Surprise this ain't another match 81.
You'd think given the fanboys they'd be raging over this as they had with that match saying "GODZILLA CAN'T LUZ BECAUSE HE'S DA KING!!!!"? Do they even watch the movies because there's been plenty of movies where he needed help or has lost notably against a certain pair of larvae.

Honestly, I'm surprised Match 240 didn't blow up in the same manner... Though in this instance, I *guess* people are more reasonable for seeing Godzilla lose to Orochi? I guess? I dunno. I've only seen one, maybe two, salt comments on TK's main FB page (not the FB comments on the match). I guess people have learned to accept it or the people who overdramatized it have long moved on (be it with their lives or TK, depends on the situation ).
