Funny story, I remember being particularly stingy with this one; in the sense that I wanted to a pic of Tokyo destroyed, so I ran with a still from G'54 and inserted Manda and LP Godzilla in.You can read the match by Patrick Alan Green here!

Oh I agree! Funny enough, the reason this turned out the way it did was because I was super stingy about it being set in "destroyed Tokyo". So I pulled a frame from G'54, thew in Manda and LPG in there, and bam! But frankly? Love the way this turned out. I really hope to do more B&W banners in the future. They're kinda fun to make.

Funny thing! The whole reason this match is even in B&W is because I was being stingy; like I wanted to have a picture of destroyed Tokyo, and G'54 was the first thing that came to mind (it was an odd day for me, lol). So Godzilla and Manda were made B&W to accommodate with the background. Plus, there aren't enough B&W banners; I think there's only one other, a Krystalak vs. Varan. Even though I used a still from G'54, the match itself isn't set in 1954.

I know I need to do more kaiju art though, that is for sure. I just sort of want to focus on some YouTube videos of my own though at the moment. If I do any kaiju art, I sort of want it to correspond to a video that I am doing. Sort of like how I did my Baragon Family Tree video.

Yep, that would be me. Pretty insignificant when it comes to being a fly on the great wall of YouTube lol. But having a full time job and helping others out on their projects and videos does not leave me with a lot of time for my own projects. Then again I take forever write a script too. Working on a Rise and Fall script for the Godzilla community, another kaiju theory video...and another monster video that will be talking about a really obscured black and white science fiction thing from Japan.

Sorry for the long reply back. My laptop broke. And I just now got another one. I wanted Windows 7...so I had to order one specially made. And then get all the old hard-drive and reinstall programs...it was just a crap load.
I listened to your new podcast episode though. It was good to listen to people talk about the KWC's banners and matches....and not another 2 hours of people trying to bend and break rules about "potential" matches on the site lol. You know I was going to make a video on Youtube about my time of being an admin on the site when it first started...but I lost that script when the computer died lol. So now I got to rewrite it. Actually...I got a lot to rewrite haha.

Cool!! It was time to see Godzilla fighting Manda again! The devastated Tokyo scenario from the original Godzilla movie from 1954 looks pretty good! Emmmm..Won't be a big problem for Manda coiling and trying to squeeze Legendary Godzilla? Because Legendary Goji is way Bulkier and bigger XDDD...

The original banner you can see on the main site. All that's really different is that the "(Legendary)" bit is missing from the original. If only because I didn't know (at the time) how we were going to handle the whole Godzilla naming convention with the introduction of Legendary.
