So long as Sakurai is on board the SSB series, I don't think we're going to get any other playable Metroid characters. So in order for more characters (espescially Metroid), SAKURAI MUST BE KICKED OFF THE SSB TEAM! So just fave it to support her. She's really going to need it.

Dark Samus deserves to be playable because she/it is the centerpoint of the entire Metroid Trilogy (for those who dont know Dark Samus is just another form of the Metroid Prime from Tallon IV)
Anyone who has played Prime 2 or 3 knows that the moveset potential would be incredible. But still, if Sakurai had his way, she would be just another clone to save him some time. We all know that *insert random kirby rep* will require LOADS of time to be as broke as Meta-knight. His favoritism and blatant disregard for some of the series (Metroid and Goldensun primarily, really killed brawl.

Not necessarily kicked off the team, we need Shiguru Miyamoto there to balance it out. That way, if they decide to play the favoritism card like Sakurai did with Metaknight, atleast the Mario, Zelda and Metroid series will get the same treatment.
