Yup, Requiem Chevalier Vampire, a cult graphic novel with a lot of common of LoK universe.
Vampire knights have a similar initiation process, like Heart of Darkness, called the Dark Sephiroth. It's an artifact, placed in their bodies to make their vampire abilities more powerful.

I'm glad you like this piece, true Silicon Knights did an outstanding work with creating a word like Nosgoth and it's nor good neither purely evil characters, even if the game's graphics is old and lacking in details it's giving a lot of space for artistic freedom when adapting a scene or a character to an artwork.

I drawn the pose I wanted and can draw from imagination how the shadows supposed to fall, but had to model the pose later to draw the lights and shadows precisely right.

Yes, I liked about his character he suffered a lot and must felt disoriented as he got alienated from his former environment, but he didn't sorried himself, rather shown who's the boss around.
