Should I have to delay my hopes,
Do I have to postpone my dreams?
Is there a law that says I am stuck,
Or is there a way out of my prison.

Can I live with out a soul,
Will my shell fade away?
How can I look at my self in the mirror,
When all I feel is emptiness.

Find me adrift in the ocean of fear,
Or allow me passage into eternity.
But don't cast me off so easily,
For it is the end of one so young.

My life may not mean much to you,
But think about who means allot to you.
For taking me away right now,
Would mean loosing that which you hold dear.

It is a shame that people fight,
And a bigger one that people can't give.
For no one man is above another,
Nor the person they hold dear.
