Description
...there is an end.It seems like i've been doing this one forever. I'm trying to push myself to make better, more real space scenes. So far my spacescapes have looked "flat", so I hope this one has more depth. I really wanted to add a lot more detail, but i've been working on this for awhile and i'm getting pretty sick of seeing it. And also, I didn't want to put this one on hold, again, to get my Exotika piece done.
A big thanks to `hameed for his stock asteroid field [link] and space cloud [link] . I hate using other peoples work, but I was running short, and I have no idea how to brush.. good.
Thanks for checkin in, and looking at my work! Hope you all like it!
Edit:
Yep, I've been wanting to edit this piece for sometime now, but never actually did it until now. And I think it looks 10 times better than it did. I wanted to make the 'light source' seem like it was exploding, so I added my apophysis render, did some magic and boom (no pun intended
I hope people still like it with all of the additions and changes. I know I do.
DD: Wow, thanks so much to =Sortvind for suggesting it, and to ^cosmosue for featuring it. Thanks a lot guys!
Edit 2: Just a little update on an old piece, mainly to change those ugly planet textures

OMG! That plasma effect is incredible! You must share your secret technique! Iv been trying a similar plasma cloud...but my renderers won't cooperate with my thoughts.... As always very nice!

Thanks man, it's pretty simple, I can't remember exactly how I did it but I used of my fractal renders and changed the blending mode on it. Not sure which one, but that's pretty much it, there's more to it of course, but I can't remember.

I'm amazed here, very well put together mate
You got a good colourflow, pretty nice depth of field and good planets.
Overall an awsome piece, the apophysis render really strenghtens up It I think.
I love this piece, it's not perfect but it's very very nicely done .
Best thing here, atmosphere !

Awsome atmosphere here, perhaps a bit tiny power in the planets, could use some more powerfull shading on there to make it a bit more intense .
Looks awsome still !

When i saw your the first thing that came to my mind i the word "class" . Your work is really class, actually the thing that i like the most in your work is the title, love the blue blur ! The white border looks very good too . For the rest, i can say your planets need more textures and they look a little bit flat . Your asteroids have a strange shape and they look a little bit flat too but they are nice . I love your star field, not too much stars, great ! The lighting is nice but it creates a strange feeling with the asteroids above it .
Hope my comment will help you and keep up the good work !

Very nice work. Everything comes together nicely and the asteroids are especially good. Also superb border around it.
