I really liked that staff when I saw it at the masq. Wishing you had some progress pics on it too. Is it layered, exactoed corrugated card board, or jigsawed plywood? So many things I want to know about this costume!

Thank you! I have some progress pictures in my scrapbook on deviantart and some on my facebook page 
It's made of 2 layers of wood, and then the gold detail/border is a layer of 3mm sintra on either side that I cut out with a bandsaw.
