Despite studying in order to master his magic, Felix's family has a small business which the man happily helps out in his free time. It helps that he loves what he does, so he's managed to get quite decent at it over the years. Of course, he prefers taking on odd requests instead, as it feels more challenging to him.
Abilities/Fighting Style
Despite having knowledge on a good variety of magic, putting those into practice is a whole different subject...

While being able to control the four elements to a very small extent, he is only capable of such if they are present in the area. He is not capable of creating fire out of thin air, or use a water spell if in a complete dry desert. This also requires an offering in exchange, usually an object, so he avoids doing so as he doesn't want to lose any of his possessions. If ever, he will use fire to keep himself warm, for example, instead of wasting it on others.

For this reason, he has dedicated himself mostly to Earth and Gravity magic. He is capable of making things lighter or heavier within a small area, as well as lift them or throw them against the ground. Random boulders appearing out of the ground are a common spell he uses.
Weapon Swordstick/Magic
Appearing to be a normal walking stick, the object is, in fact, a hidden sword used only in emergencies. The redhead prefers using his raw magic to do the work but will not hesitate to get physical if the situation so demands it.

Personality
One could describe Felix as being a rather cheerful, good-natured lad. He is, without a doubt, a charming, intelligent man who is also endearing and considerate. Living by the motto of doing a good deed every day has turned him into a kind and gentle person. He can be quite possessive though, a result of trying to be the 'reliable big brother' (and failing).

Yet, responsibility might be his biggest fear, for the man goes as far as spreading bad rumours about his reputation to ensure his privacy and avoid work. He can be dishonest and stubborn, even a little self-appreciative. Respect? Oh, that just means more work and pressure. And let us not talk about his somewhat lack of common sense when it comes to socializing. He is ready to party, yes, but by himself.
Background
Born in Titania to a small and somewhat wealthy family, Felix soon had high expectations set upon him. Times were rough in their village, but the family's business was going strong still. His father was quite busy with all the work and Felix's curiousity made him watch and learn the ways of a blacksmith. Luckily, that was what the family wished, as he was expected to take over the business when his father retired.

The boy's heart, however, was always set on learning the mysterious and difficult ways of magic. The stories about the Yu'Meena race's origin didn't help. Although his mother didn't aprove of it, the redhead was quick to attend all kinds of classes and read as many books as he could on the subject. The dream of being a Wizard was simply fascinating in his mind.

When he was seven, his mother gave birth to another child, a younger brother. Felix saw this as an opportunity of dumping the work and pressure onto him instead so he could pursue his dream.

Years passed and the redhead was closer and closer to fulfilling his dream. Magic was now as natural as common sense to him. However, his somewhat unhealthy obsession with it caused him to become a hermit at age eighteen, when his teachers considered him no longer an apprentice.

He soon moved out of his parents' house to travel, moving to Vordo-Forest and taking on odd jobs here and there to get around. Yet, the respect and reputation he was gaining were proving to be too much for him. He liked being lazy and taking things at his own pace. Soon enough, he was spreading rumous about himself, malicious ones, so people would keep their distance. It didn't help that he felt like the more magic he used, the more of a monster he felt. Was the curse related to his race true?
Regardless of that, he became so much of a hermit that he didn't even pay attention when the War resumed and his father had joined Ivalina's army to fight for Earthra. Only when the news that he had died in battle recently reached his ears made him return home to his family, his brother now running the family's business and his mother sick with depression.

With no other choice than to accept the harsh reality, the man settled down again in order to help around the shop, though never giving up his passion for magic, studying in his free time. He'll still act like a hermit sometimes and avoid responsibility whenever he can, though.

With his life now more or less back to normal, Felix decided to join and partake in the War, even though his only goal is to study and research as many things as he can. After all, while he is knowledgeable in the ways of magic, putting all that into practice is another story...
