I was going to try a technique where I color first, then use those colors to make a grayscale image to put the shading on, to preserve the values, with another copy of the colors on top in 'color' mode, but... somehow, those two don't actually add up to the original. So if it's going to cheat like that, I might not use that technique at all. At least I was discouraged enough not to bother this time, since their color areas are pretty well blocked off anyway
So yeah, one might be tempted to ignore the yami lizalfos, but shadow breath is totally a thing, and it's easy to imagine it would have the stealth powers seen in BotW's lizalfos. i tried spreading those attributes around a bit, so the paralyzing one gets the wall-crawling proclivity and chameleonish headgear, along with a kinked rather than curled tail because lightning! This works, right?
