Last month, my sis rescued a 3-week old kitten, and for a few weeks that took up most of my attention, so I couldn't work on my art for a bit. I tried to time how long it took me to make this page, but constantly having to take care of the kitten made it impossible to concentrate, so I just did it in bursts when I could. I can definitely say that it took more than a day, mostly due to the fact I didn't plan this out very well. Comics are really freaking hard to make, as it turns out, and needs a bit more in the way of planning than a few rough figure sketches and text. I'll have to try some more in-depth sketches next time.

As for the comic, there's not much to say; I thought of a funny little event, and decided to draw it. Admittedly, I'm not terribly happy with how I framed it, but as of writing I am very tired from work and not terribly interested in spending several hours reworking panels-as I said, I need to plan these better in the future. I'm going to be making a fair few one-off comic pages in the near future, as I', hoping to start a webcomic next year. Hopefully. I am NOT confident enough in my art skills to start right now, even though I have a story more or less fully drafted. I'm planning on really focusing on improvement next year, so that I can put my best foot forward when/if I do start.
