Description
A quick picture of Jenga that I'll be using as an example for a speech I have to give during my communications class Monday which I'm not looking forward to btw!. It'll basically be a 5 min crash course on how to use Photoshop to make stuff like this, which should be easy enough. I hate getting up in front of class to do anything though. >n>Jenga did get a redesign too! He's suppose to be the descendant of my other serval, Valon so I wanted to make him actually look like it. xD His old colors and face markings also bugged me a bit.
Pose and background are a bit boring because I had to get this done pretty quick! I do like the way Jenga came out though. <33

It's very beautiful... I love it ! Can I use Jenga for a RPG forum please ? I can put the copyright, of course. Your art is wonderful, and me, I can't do that... I'm waiting for your answer ! (sorry if I do some mistakes, but I'm a french girl)... Anja.

This is amazing. The background is really simple, so all the focus is on Renga. I envy people so much who have the ability to draw perfect, straight line arts like this one as well. Mine always appear wobbly, and it really affects the quality of my picture. I hope I can draw like this someday.

c: I'm sure you'll be able to! All you need is practice but thanks!
D| My lineart has by far taken me the most amount of work to get it the way I like it. I've learned that if you double to the size of your picture before you ink and then re-shrink it back down to normal size once your finished, the lineart and colors look more sharp. Maybe that might help you out too? :3

That's so cool! He's a leopard...lion...cat...thing? I like how the background looks with the character, the grass-stuff is almost the same colour as him, but the sky is all blue and contrast-y.
Epic sky...

He's a serval! [link] They're awesome little cats and definitely one of my favorite animals. Haha, but thank you! <3

Wow, that's cute! I want one as a pet! Are they dangerous?

Servals can be domesticated though they're high maintenance and have a lot of energy, but they wouldn't be dangerous if they were raised around humans, nope! They'd be just like a big house cat. <3

I do! I have a Wacom Intuos3 tablet that's roughly 9"x12" big. I just adore it to pieces and probably couldn't live without one now. <3

<3 Thank you, I am debating between models. I saw a review where an artist was saying she liked the create. >Options< *-* not good with so many technical options!

Mine was bought as a present so I didn't have a chance to debate with myself. xD Overall, I love mine. It's really easy to use and super simple to set up. It was basically just plug it up, install the driver software, and it was ready to go. It works awesome with my version of Photoshop too but I'm not sure how it'd be with any other programs. I had no tablet experience prior to getting it either and, while it took a few weeks getting used to, it wasn't hard to learn and I've used it almost every day since. <3
I think whatever model you choose though you'll like a lot.

You should, it would be quite the place to work, this girl I used to dorm with in college, she was an art major and she did an internship in Disneys studio. She said they're sooo picky when it comes to artists they seriously do want the best and most original they can get

Beautiful, beautiful picture. Such character in that face. And your background is very nice too.
Course in Photoshop? Okay, tell me how you get those nice, thin, consistent, smooth lines?? For the life of me mine always turn out bumpy.

KaiserTiger In reply to chill13 [2011-11-25 06:49:25 +0000 UTC]
Aw, thank you!
xD It wasn't really a course in Photoshop, more like a "stand in front of class and ramble about one of my pics" type thing. c: To get my smooth lines though, I usually double the size of my picture between my sketch and lineart/coloring steps, so that when I resize the pic back to normal size after I'm finished, the colors and lines come out nice and smooth. If I when to skip this step, my lineart would probably be all bleh too. xDD
