I guess it really shouldn't be called a "lion" tutorial since Anderson is a tiger, but I wanted to stay with the same title I had for the other two versions. xDD Besides, I draw them both the same anyway.
Anyway, I've had a lot of requests lately to update my "How to draw lions" tutorial so I whipped this up in like 10 mins.
I tried ti include lots of steps to avoid adding any text and I figured it'd be more helpful in the end.I'd love to hear if this helps any of you. <3

my trouble is the second step with the nose. i wish you would've added text there to explain how you make or got that shape

Jesus christ, I waded through a load of shit to find a tutorial reminiscent to TLK style. Sadly, I had to measure out my own proportions with various screenshots of Simba, but this really helped out..the style they draw the faces in is a pain without someone showing me the guidlines used.

Yay, a new tutorial! 
But I really wish someone would include a step-by-step guide for how to do the bodies too. I have a hard time doing them, esp. with getting the body in the right proportion in size to the head.

Lawl, I was actually going to do a body tutorial with the head I drew for this one since everyone's been asking me for something like that too. :3 Though my style of drawing bodies isn't exactly based on shape proportions like my heads are, so I'm not sure it'd be as helpful.

I am going to give it a try as soon as possible. It looks great, although I can't find any bigger changes with the last tutorial... I think You were starting from the nose there.

I was, but I changed the way I started my muzzles. Instead of drawing a triangle for the nose, I make the basic shapes now and add the nose later. x3 It helps with positions better.

It will, certainly! Yet now I'm trying to use real lion's photos as references... Hm. It is going to be tough, but I've heard just too many times it is the best what I can do to learn to draw. xd

Photos are the best for learning anatomy when your first starting out. Once you've drawn for awhile though. that anatomy kinda get stuck in your head. xD

x3 He was designed to be a bit like Kovu. Mainly just the fur on the side of his face though.

Your nose design has changed. This may help me get inspiration back if i loose it. I"ve been dying to draw all my characters for my comic, but slacking off doesn't help. XD Awesome. I'll try it.

I guess a little. I started drawing the nose bridge before adding the nose since it helps me with muzzle position better. I noticed I draw my mouths in basically the same angle all the time so I needed a change. x3
