Done mostly in Vista Paint, little cutting and pasting in Paintshop Pro. Also done with the Vista paint palette, though not entirely the default. Used some colors out of the expanded palette.Anyway, made the little guy on the left, had some more spare time, so I doubled his size and hi-resolutioned it.
I'd highly recommend people tyr this out once in awhile. It's fun to go back over stuff and improve the quality, make tweaks, add in details, etc..
Done on my laptop, instead of the desktop I usually work on. Submitted at 2x size.

I really like this man. Those palettes really pop, the warm cold combi of colors works really well. I'll also keep in mind to double the size of a sprite to make it highres.

Yeah, the really bright palette is a side effect of working with Vista Paint colors, and the fact that my laptop tends to display things very dully, so I overcompensate when using it.
