The cell he was being held in was dark and cold. Even colder at night. The moon shined into the cell, illuminating the dank area. Suzaku sat there and stared through the bars briefly before taking out the locket that hung from his neck. He opened it and stared at the picture inside. Emotion swelled inside his chest as he gazed at the happy faces of the people he loved more than the waking world in the picture alongside him. Lelouch, his Britannian husband, is so beautiful as he always was. In his husband's arms was their beautiful daughter, her eyes were closed but behind those closed eyelids were amethyst eyes matching Lelouch's color. The brunet always loved that color... It was so unique he wished for his daughter to have it even if that meant she would get Suzaku's messy brown hair. Their daughter, Clarissa, slept while the portrait was taken but that was alright. Suzaku felt happy then. He had the two greatest loves in his life with him.
Now Suzaku isn't sure if he will ever see them again. He was supposed to go on a trip to another country with Euphemia as her protector, her Knight, but he was ambushed and kidnapped. The kidnappers had thought it through on kidnapping him. They kept their distance while shooting him with a tranquilizer gun like he was some animal. Next thing Suzaku knew, he was being brought to some sort of prison in another part of Japan. They told him to change and he left his locket on. When the kidnappers tried to take it away, he lashed against them violently before he was finally thrown into a cell. He stayed there for who knows how long without food or water. It could have been days. It could have been a week. He was fed after that much time has passed. Another week passed and then another. Then two months had passed, Suzaku had been counting.
The time of his and Lelouch's anniversary is fast approaching and he wasn't home with him... He wondered how Lelouch and Clarissa are doing. They must be worried sick about him. Suzaku clung to that thought as he glanced at his locket. He opened it and saw the happy faces of himself and his husband holding their beautiful Clarissa. He missed them. He missed them so much... The knight felt like his heart was breaking as tears fell from his eyes. He closed the locket and clutched it, holding it against his chest.

'I want to see them...' He thought to himself as he wept quietly in his cell. When he will escape, he didn't know...

Again, I'm still without internet at my house so I had to sneak and post this by mobile. I really dislike doing that because deviantart tends to be wonky on mobile, as I had the unfortunate time finding out. Since I may be without internet until after the 20th of this month (and for a good while after that), I'm posting the comic a little ahead of time. Let me explain this comic. For those that don't know, I have a Suzaku roleplay blog. He is married to Lelouch who is blind. My partner, DarkyCakeDoodles , have created this AU and I have decided to make Suzaku a part of that AU. So whatever we come up with is related to the AU and it's full of everyday problems they face with being an interracial gay couple. And both Lelouch and Suzaku have some mental issues they are dealing with as well. Yeah a lot of problems there. It's a good thing they love each other so intensely despite all of this.

Unfortunately, Suzaku has been kidnapped and has been in captivity for three months now. As to why he has been kidnapped is a mystery for now. Maybe it is because he is married to another man and is raising a daughter with him. Or maybe it is because Suzaku is Japanese. He has always been treated unfairly because of his nationality. Suzaku is used to it but now he is at his breaking point because he's away from his family. Not only are the captors punishing him, they are indirectly punishing Lelouch and their baby daughter...

Anyway, June 20th is Suzaku's and Lelouch's two year wedding anniversary. So unfortunate that Suzaku has to spend that away from his husband, the love of his life. I did hope to be online during this time too despite my severe anxieties about ever roleplaying on tumblr again. Some of my breakdowns for the first half of this year was because of that. (I may actually quit roleplaying on tumblr for good despite having a muse for Suzaku on and off.)

This comic is in French because Lelouch is technically, well, French. Look at his name. Even if he wasn't, it's canon to me and Kaito because it's our AU, so... Suzaku learned French so he could speak to Lelouch often despite the fact they both converse in English all the time. And so Suzaku has another way of voicing his love for his husband. Lelouch's first language is French and Suzaku's is obviously Japanese. Biligual husbands~~ In this comic, Suzaku is speaking French so none of the captors can understand what he is saying. Most of the Britannians don't speak the language of their ancestors. Lelouch, Nunnally, and Euphemia are the only ones who speak French. c:

I'll translate what I found via a translator (not google translate) It still may be inaccurate and I'm sorry but hopefully the comic will be understandable either way. By the way, I do not speak much French if wasn't obvious already. Maybe a few phrases but that's it.
