I actually like this the way it is, and here's why (not that it would be bad complete): The unfinishedness makes Daniel himself stand out and makes the blood much more striking. The blood splotches on his shirt really stand out because the shirt itself has no colors or much detail at all- making the detail that is there more noticeable. I also really appreciate the texture change from his skin to the shirt (details, I notice and <3 them). That is a commonly forgotten detail, of which I myself am guilty of. As far as Daniel himself, he looks adorable, and like he needs more oil for his lantern. His expression isn't the typical "I've lost my sanity" expression, and I enjoy that. It also makes him seem really, really vulnerable. He's fantastic, you're fantastic, and even though you say this is unfinished, I think this is good enough as is to stand out- it caught my attention while browsing and convinced me to comment, I don't comment often
