I’m definitely having fun with this one. It’s another piece that…started out as a doodle. xD It’s on scrap paper that I was testing colour pencils on... There are huge swatches that run through and around Exveemon’s wing, but I edited them mostly out. I have to get around to finishing it…He’s drawn on cardstock with a Sakura Micron pen size 01, and coloured with some random colouring pencils… I think they’re Sanford Colorific, Rose Art, and crayola.
I love Digimon. XD I hadn't drawn them in so long, and a certain pic that will be posted fairly soon has gotten me into wanting to do it again... it used to be all I did... Exveemon/XVmon is one of my favourite Digimon ever...

Like...? And, I probably will...I had an idea to do a picture kind of like the one in my gallery called "Digimon Adventure," except more detailed and with Davis/Daisuke and his digimon and his forms... So there'd be another pic with another pose.

Yeah, but of course Ken turned good in the end, as we all know. XD I really liked Paildramon, too...I even have a Paildramon figure on my drawing table. XD He's standing on my marker box that I rigged up, or else he'd fall over since it's...tilted.
Surprising how little wormmon could turn into something so menacing as Stingmon.
Did you know that on FUNimation's site, you can now view Digimon Zero Two in Japanese with subs? I think it's free, but my internet's so slow it doesn't matter.

Oh yes, that's true. WHOA COOL. I could never find Digimon toys, except for a Flamedramon.... And as a kid I wasn't aware of the Internet and buying things. XDDDDD Hu hu hu, Stingmon was cool too.
NO KIDDING. My internet's limited (5 gigs a month) so I can't watch vids, but I'll try at my boyfriend's apartment when I visit him....

wooo~ i really love the boldness of the colors. it's amazing that you can mix different color pencil brands >> i can't...
does he really have a knife blade on his snout? i appreciate the fact that you didn't over-emphasize the anthro-ness like some fan art does. it's really annoying when it's done all...badly. but this is okay XD (though i'd personally have done a less masculine crotch area >>) i can see...muscle fibers in the chest XD
the claws are cool... i really like the eye, and the mouth... digimon are cool XD

Thanks. XD Mm...well, they all work fine. Except for one brand that I have a few of that I don't use...they're just...awful.
It's a blade, yes. It's a digimon, what do you want from him? XD
I actually did less muscleyness and veinyness than the original Digimon art has, and mostly went by the Anime's depiction. (I didn't intend for him to have a masculine crotch. :/ I just...went by the pics I was looking at, I think.... If you think this is bad, don't look up Exveemon on this site, because people are disturbing....>>;; They purposefully make Exveemon look freaky in that way. ;_; )

i generally don't look up digimon for that reason :/ they're too anthropomorphized. and yeah, original digimon also often bugs me for that reason. which is one of the reasons frontier appeals to me more i think, is cuz you don't really see that XD

I didn't mean the anime art. I said specifically, the original digimon art--which was for cards/games.

like, uh...the 'angelic' names of some of them. like seraphimon and cherubimon... i was like...okay, taking something from the Bible, twisting it...this isn't good.

in, uh...frontier, cherubimon was evil. or had been turned evil...or something. and in the end they saved him, and he was good again, but...still... i'm always uncomfortable when people take something biblical and turn it into something...mythological, or fantasy-ish, or whatever... it always sends off all these warning-alarms inside me, and i think...trust those XD

Turned evil. XD In Digimon Zero Two, he was one of a set of twin Digimon belonging to Willis--Lopmon and Terriermon--who had been...turned evil somehow, I don't quite remember.

Well, he wasn't a main character. He was in the Movie (ONE of the movies, in the Japanese anime XD), and I think mentioned once in the show.
