Well, I think the original looks way better... Isn't it odd how scanning colours is such an awful, horrible thing to do? And without Photoshop, it's really a pain to fix... Eventually, I may try to rescan and get a better image. Eventually.
Anyway.
I like Splatoon.
I've had it a few weeks now (three, maybe?) and...I really like it. I do wish I had some friends to play with/against, but one can't do much about that when your friends aren't really gamers, heh.

This is the first time in a very long time that I've ever done anything on this scale (normally my works of late are ACEOs/ATCs, and even not counting those, I don't do big pictures). How big is it? Normal 8.5x11" paper (cardstock). That's huge for me, haha. So you'd think I'd get more details, but...nah. I haven't done anything in ages, and I finally got some free time to do this. I'm happy enough with it all (namely, how it looks in real life, the scan is meh) except for that sky. It's a herp derp sky. Most of my skies are herp derp skies. I don't have enough variety in blues to make a smooth gradient, and I need more practice besides.

But still...SPLATOON.
YAY.

Copics, Sakura Micron pens, Sakura Gelly Roll white gel pen, and a few bits with Prismacolor color pencils.

I might also crop this in the future to get rid of some of the herpderp sky. Mayyybe.
More Copics, more practice, that's what I need, yep.
