HEy guys! I just wanted to post another comparison photo.

I know a lot of you think you'll never improve
I've seen a lot of artists say "I'll never be as good as so-and-so" or "I'll never improve"

But trust me, you will.
It's taken me 4 years to get here, and I still have a long way to go. It takes time.
It wouldn't have taken so long if I didn't stop drawing humans for two years.
If you want to improve, you need to draw every day.

A lot of people are inconsistent with drawing and still ask why they won't improve.
Well it's because you don't practice. No one is magically born with the talent to create masterpieces.
You have to work up to that. And work hard.

Don't reference off of other artists. A lot of people do that. But you will not improve that way.
You need to look at real images of what you're wanting to draw, and then tweak it to make your style from there.
Always, always, always reference from real photos.
Wanna draw people? Reference from real photos.
Wanna draw an animal? Reference from real photos.
I cannot stress enough how important this is.
Even if you want to draw something that isn't real.
Wanna draw a dragon? Reference from real reptiles.
Most things that are mythological are based off of real things.
