Mario, you're just gonna let these chumps walk all over you? Let's totally POUND these blockheads into dust!

Sgt Crash the Chargin Chuck (Nicknamed "Sarge" by his fellow army men). Sarge is a courageous- albeit brutish and short tempered- leader and has lead countless squadrons into victories in the name of Bowser, whom he has devoted his allegiance to. Previously a high ranking General in Bowser's Army, Sarge would periodically arrive to battle and attempt thwarting Mario on his journey similar to Lord Crump. Since he was a child, Sarge has always admired the Koopa King and, in his eyes, Bowser is the strongest, coolest, and bravest leader in all the kingdoms in the world and will do anything for the Koopa cause. A very formidable foe and high ranking army general, Bowser has sent Sarge on a quest to halt Mario's advancements (not for any REAL reason Bowser is just really petty but Sarge takes this request very seriously). He is quick to temper and has little patience for failure, however he truly cares deeply for his comrades on the battlefield and treats them like family, giving him a likable and respectable reputation among the other underlings. When he temporarily leaves command to join Mario's party, his squadron understand and support his decision with unconditional respect.

Sgt Crash's ability is to charge into large obstacles that would otherwise be impassable and destroy them, similar to the super hammer. In battle he can ram into multiple or singles enemies- possibly knocking them off stage- or grabbing an enemy and chucking them onto another. He can give himself an electrical buff that damages enemies upon contact as well as dealing massive damage with his signature "Thunder Crash" attack that can leave an enemy dazed.

Attacks:
Tackle Ram- Sarge charges and tackles onto an enemy at full force.
*Chump Chuck- Sarge grabs and launches the closest enemy out of the field, damaging the other enemies on its way out
**Volt Flex- Sarge concentrates and generates static electricity around himself, giving himself the electrified buff.
***Thunder Crash- Sarge stomps the ground and summons a lightning strike to blast all enemies, leaving some dazed.

Sgt Crash joins Mario because he realizes there is a bigger threat to the well being of the world and decides to find common ground. Although he remains loyal to Bowser, Sarge has formed a sort of love-hate relationship with Mario after Mario saved him from defeat at the hands of a more deadly enemy. He plans on returning to general duty in Bowser's army once the adventure is over, but he has formed a strong frenemy bond with Mario that will surely last a lifetime.
