A compilation of all my various magic-like props that I've made/collected.Spellbook - Just finished today
Lens with velvet cushion - Grabbed the lens out of a broken projection tv and the cushion was hand stitched by me for this shoot today.
Various dried plants and mushrooms - Gathered from the woods near my house some time ago. Glad I went through the trouble of dehydrating them when I did.
Mortar and Pestle - bought from Bed, Bath & Beyond some time ago.
Foot long orange feather (bottom left) - This guy at work brought it in and nobody wanted it, sat there for almost a week before I nabbed it.
Geode in glass bell (top right) - The geode belongs to my brother and I got the bell at Goodwill a few days ago.

Really nice assemblage of thoughtful and atmospheric items.
I have tried to do a few images with this feel, but yours is better.

Thanks. The trick is getting just the right lighting and white balance, that's what really gives the picture the right feel in my opinion. It took hours of adjusting where the candles were and how many were lit and where the other objects that reflected light were just to get that one picture.
Curiously it seems I have somehow misplace the mortar half of my mortar and pestle.

Then I hope you weren't planning on using it...! Someone gave me a wooden one which is pretty, but absorbs all the oils from crushed spices, and that defeats the purpose.

Thanks. Took a while to get the lighting right. Candles are not a good light source.
