thanx! I did the whole thing in photoshop after I scanned in the lineart. It was my first sort-of-realistic pic so it was completely experimental.

You used some of my favorite colors in this pic - aqua and pink! It looks great, gives a "traditional" images a more contemporary twist. She is very beautiful also

Some areas looks too soft and other areas looks too defined. Sometime the two clash and it doesn't look good. For example, the kimono layers: Some edges are defined, and some are blurred.
The face has overall has a soft coloring, but the solid black outlines for the eyes and eyebrowns ruins it. I think making the outlines lighter would fit better, but that's only what I think.
I really like the background and how you did her lips. ^^

It's excellent - one thing I've noticed though
You should try using the "highlights" burn tool for your complete shadows. I assume you've been using burn from the slight texturing on her face - more dramatic shadows give more depth, and I feel this has so much more potential

Yeah, I know. This isn't finished. I plan on doing more of her body and I don't wan't to finish the highlights/shadows until I know how it will look with the rest. I'll keep in mind what you said.
