Description This is my first upload since the whole deal with the plagiarist. The whole story is up at my LJ (www.livejournal.com/users/kalamitykat), but to make it short: a girl took my image (Lovebirds) off MediaMiner.org and contacted me, asking whether I copied her image. I said no, of course, and it turned out she stole my image and altered it slightly. Later on it turned out that she also stole ’s image, too.

Anyway, that’s beside the point. I just wanted to say that *that’s* the reason why this pic has my name on it.

Anyway, now to the pic (for those who haven’t seen it in B&W yet) - it’s named DBZ Scouts for a reason: I’ve seen the DBZ boys in the Scout uniforms, but never the DBZ girls – so I said why the heck not.

18 as Minako/Venus, because she’s blonde and has pale blue eyes. The attitudes don’t match, but oh well. Better Sailor Venus than Sailor Moon.

Chi-Chi as Rei/Sailor Mars, because she has black eyes and black hair. And the attitude, can’t forget that.

Bulma as Ami/Mercury, because she has bluish hair and eyes and because she’s a genius. ‘Nuff said.

I *know* the background sucks. And I know that I can’t colour hair to save my life. Sorry!

i agree,she has very similar characteristics,the only big difference is that android 18 isn't a lesbian,but hey she's much more like Haruka than Mina.

I wasn't looking for anything remotely like this, (in fact I was looking for something Girl Scout related....long story) but I couldn't pass this up, it's just too damn funny.

I wonder if there could have been any more fit in there, but then it would just be too crowded huh?

Fantastic work, and terrible shame about the art theft.

I'm glad you like the pic. There was a lot of effort put into colouring. I think I *am* somewhat improving... The background is awful, though, I hate it. Oh well. I need to work on the backgrounds.

On another note... I am working on a lot of crossover pix (GW/SM and DBZ/SM)... Just need to get them scanned. I think some of them might turn out rather well. Sorry. A little shameless plug here.

Lol. I plug shamelessly too! Your art is amazing-- I really do need to draw more often and try to develop my own sense of style instead of trying (and failing) to copy the artist' way.

Thanks so much for the compliment. If everyone is going to keep saying that all the time, I'm actually start believing it.

Oh well, your own style is highly overrrated, trust me. I'd say I have one (probably), but it's strongly influenced by whichever anime I am addicted to at the moment (Rumiko Takahashi, then Toriyama, etc). So you see, copying someone else's art can make you draw better, too. Actually, that's practtice, but you know what I mean.

As for the plagiarist - don't get me started. She said that Marron was her OC Kyko, and that Radditz was actually Nappa, maskerading as Radditz (shaved his moustache and put on a wig).

Tell me about it. You have NO idea how stupid she is. I gave her more than enough chances to admit that she took my pic, but she keeps insisting she did it from scratch. And she changed Marron slighty (turned her hair pink and put a strange symbol onto her head). Sheesh. Well, her site is temporarily down anyway... And I'll make sure it *stays* down.
