Description
Part of a set of Xmas tree/rear-view mirror ornaments (Mario Kart Blue Shell can be seen here [link] Mushroom can be seen here [link] ) and belonging to a series of Nintendo-themed sculptures recreated in a more realistic manner, which started with the Realistic Piranha Plant (seen here: [link] ) and its baby, and ending with a Baby Metroid in formaldehyde, which will be available in a few months.

It is a Goomba, as seen in Super Mario Brothers. I used clay and acrylics and the final piece is about two inches. This is technically my second Goomba, since the Piranha Plant actually had one that was a little more realistic (it was basically a brown mushroom, no eyes).
