This is very nice and cute! It has that hint of Grecian feel while still being very energetic and to a degree modern. It has this high fashion look that could fit in today's day and age but also it has enough elements to be a fantasy themed look. I always remember Demeter because of a book I used to read a lot in the school library and she was always described as this mother who was so worried for her daughter Persephone so the image I had of her and this rendition you did of her are very different images. But I like yours, it's a nice one that's sweet, it's cute it's energetic and it'd match the image of what she might've been prior to becoming this worried mother.Β

She's a part of this group I'm in, she was created like a long while back:

I also drew Hades:

But he doesn't appear in the group (as far as I know) so yeah.
But yeah Demeter (well my version) isn't really worried about Persephone, because she knows that Hades can't really hurt her, because he's mostly just a hot head (at least towards her) yip.

Hehe, that sounds like the Hades most of us grew up watching thanks to Disney's rendition of Hercules (of course, your sketch of him looks nicer on the eyes than the Disney version). That book that I used to read I had initially read it because of the illustrations, they were so beautiful and I wanted to make sketches that looked almost of amazing as those but as I got older, I actually began to understand what it was I was reading and the story of Hades and Persephone didn't seem so bad at first (especially since this was in an elementary school library) but now when I look back on it, I realize that it wasn't really the best way to start a relationship (very forceful and deceitful). I could understand Demeter's worry more now than I could when I first read the stories.Β

I really don't know much of Demeter and the other gods of greek origins, even though some elements of it are in Sailor Moon, yeah. XD

For me it was between the movie Hercules (as well as the animated series) and Sailor Moon that got me into researching Greek Mythology. Granted I was probably the only odd ball in school who would get excited every time we had to do a project that involved the Solar System, especially when a small group of us were assigned the most oddly named planet (my reaction had all my classmates look at me strange) but I don't regret growing up all the stuff I saw and that includes Sailor Moon.Β

Me too, well on the Sailor Moon part, I never got to work on big science projects, except for when I created Kammiea, which is now connected with Final Fantasy IV in my series. XD

Really?
I thought that design you did earlier was super cute.
What do you have in mind (I'll draw it, but I'll let you color it, it'll be quicker that way) eh??
