More Dex/Nazishness. Is it obvious I really like my characters?
Wanted to do something a bit less lifeless shade-wise. I hope it pops pretty decently.Naz's head is a bit too small, though. Should've fixed, but oh well!

They kinda remind me of Kieranth and M'iri, though Kie 'n Miir have a more yin/yang personality.

And part of me has always wondered how knots were to be worn.
Did you stick your arm through them? (Like this picture.) Or did it merely rest on your shoulder like a kind of epaulet thingy?

They're probably supposed to go on the outside, with the little button-over thing on the shoulder to hold it in place, but the way her arm was positioned, I decided to loop it through so it showed better.

You know, I've had to wear those damned things for four years of my life, and I still can't remember whether they go on the outside of the shoulder, or around it. I'm pretty sure they go outside, though.

Oh, I LIKE this. The black/white gradient in the center makes you fall into the image, right into the jaws of some pretty forbidding creatures.
You put a lot of serious detail work on the clothing and that's what gives this image so much depth. The rich shadows and the highlights of the hair, the fur lining her clothes and Naz's smooth skin all have their own respective textures. Very well done. *thumbs up*
You know her clothes would make subtle, foreboding noises as she creeps through the dark.

Awww, thank you! I probably could've spent more time on it and had it turn out better, but after 4 or so hours I get impatient and just want it to be done. 
They definitely are a very creepy pair.

*grin* Yeah, I'm kind of a shadow-whore. I put them in even when they don't have to be >_<. I definitely get that 4-hour mark thing, where you just say "Oh, f*ck it" but I've found if you can resist the urge to post it right that minute and instead go and get a sandwich or something and them come back and look at the picture from across the room while you eat, you can sometimes trigger a new bout of inspiration on what else you should do with it.
Also: use a mirror. It helps also just to flip the image horizontally so you can see all the lines afresh, but I've found a mirror works better for making your brain view an image that is entirely opposite of what you've been staring at for hours.
Not that I think this image specifically actually needs anything. Sometimes less is better, and the black clothes vanishing into the darkness and the light hair/white of Naz's face are all this image needs. Good instinct with that one.
