So I've been playing Pokemon again...yeah. Diamond to be specific. Started off with a Turtwig and I adore my Torterra. Just a pic of her sleeping.Related content

reminds me of the one i have in Pearl...male..his name was Twiggy...it stuck.
Twiggy and the Golden Straw is a regular inside joke i have with friends involving Twiggy's absorb ability. the original absorb/drain is a silver straw. the Mega Drain is the golden straw. jam it into the head of any earth pokemon? *SLUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURP*....instant braindead rock
but yeah. impressive work on the Torterra...i like the birdy XD
the terrain details on the shell are really good...i think i'm gonna start tracking you from now on...

Out of all the starters that have been introduced, the Turtwig family is my favorite, and I'd just like to say that this illustration you've done is absolutely phenomenal.

turtwig was definitily my favourite out of the 3 starters in the new game! I loved bulbasaur in the original..and just wasn't too keen on chikorita and the one from ruby and sapphire (I can't remember the name atm..) but turtwig was definitely a link back to the past!! Torterra is just awesome aswell, and so is you pick! DAMN! So good.

I really love this interpretation of Torterra. You really bring out the fact that this Pokemon is called the 'Continent Pokemon' with all those rocks etc. However, does the tree on its back look a bit too small? I remember that it was larger and considering how Torterra is primarily a Grass type, it seems to make more sense to emphasise the tree.

Awesome, you have a female Torterra, too! I reset the game many, many times until I got a female. It owns. Cute pic, I love how you expanded on the details of the earth-laden shell. And the birdy. XD
I would have gotten Chimchar because the Fire/Fighting final class is awesome, but the fact of the matter remains that I really, really effing hate monkeys. Chimchar's line is on the inoffensive end of monkey monster design, though, but the next time I see an Aipom or Ambipom, I'm going to draw a brutal picture of an Aipom or Ambipom getting its head cleaved in half by a Heracross' Brick Break... >:[
