Description
I've been low on inspiration lately, so I present to you my personal emblem that I've had lying around for a while now.

It represents the two most prominent facets of my life - art and computer science - combined in a Yin and Yang manner.
I can't imagine having one without the other. Even when my focus shifts to one of them, the other is always in the back of my mind.
And while the lack of a clear separation between job and hobby can be stressful at times, I also feel that they complement each other really well.
Artificial intelligence is an awesome tool for bringing artworks to life, and an artist's perspective is really helpful when designing believable artificial creatures or appealing user interfaces.

Among other things, both lizards adorn my personal website which I set up recently: www.kathrinjanowski.com

Both lizards were created in GIMP, with a little bit of Blender for the kaleidoscopic colors of the art lizard.
This one was created in 2016 when I was preparing for joining DeviantArt, for the specific purpose of being my avatar here.
The teal circuit lizard followed in 2018, when I decided that I wanted a similar avatar for computer-related purposes.
