Just a watercolor painting I did earlier this year, just thought making a hybrid sea creature would be interesting.

Based on the Bonnethead shark, a smaller relative of the more famous hammerhead shark and the Mimic octopus native to the Indo Pacific.

I used an actual Bonnethead shark that I photographed for reference at my local aquarium which is where I got the idea to do this. Something interesting I found out was that it was perhaps the only "omnivorous" shark out there. Studies showed that a large amount of its diet consists of seagrass, and that they could digest it too.

The Mimic octopus-like others can change to match and blend into their surroundings but also change its shape to resemble tens of other species found locally in the Indo Pacific such as Sea snakes, Lionfish, Soles, and more.
