Perhaps it is just me. Perhaps it only all of us health-nuts out here in Sunny California (don't worry, I do not include all Califonians in this (boy, aren't you relieved...), just the health-nutty ones such as *swooping bow* myself.
Here's my point though... Why the hell would anyone smoke? You succeed only in blackening your lungs, roughening your voice (and face), and for what? So that years later you get to have surgury and become a human robot! Whee! Plus, it doesn't even look cool!!!
Not to mention the fact that you personally don't even smoke! (Thank God...) So its intentionally for an effect that isn't anything but nostalgic. I guess that's what you were going for, though, so I'll forgive you....I suppose.
