Description
A fight scene requested by depicting Kai Steel and Babe the Blue Ox. The original idea was to have Babe holding Kai up in a bear hug, uniform a bit worse for wear. I started out that way before i decided to have Babs use an iron i-beam to wrap around Kai's torso instead. I also figured I would have Kai's outfit being torn at the chest by Babs, since she owes Kai as much after their last run in.I feel like I really could have done a lot more with this one. Real life has been kicking my rear lately with a lot going on all at once. It also didn't help that I sat here finishing the last half of the coloring at the end of a day I only got 3 hours of sleep for. So my ability to devote time to artwork lately has been minimal, sadly. That's also the reason I didn't come up with a story for this one. Even though it wasn't necessary, I still like including something with each picture I finish. I think I am going to go watch something funny, like Whale Wars, and sleep on the couch now...

Nice candid shot of a day in the Life of Kai Steel. Ox really left herself open for several nasty counter attacks, no matter how strong she is, if Kai is still alive after the initial attack, then she could gouge out Blue's eyes our cup her hands and blow out Blue's eardrums screwing with her equilibrium, plus a ton of pain.

Great picture with a highly inventive bear hug. However I think Kai can get out of it easily, she can just absorb that beam. And of course the cameraman was too quick to snap this picture, if he had waited another moment the shot would have featured a torn open top for Kai.

Yeah, those darn photographers, always jumping the gun. He was probably too busy gawking to remember he had a camera when Babe was finished with Kai's poor outfit. Next time I'll have to hire someone who gets less... distracted.

If Kai gets free I think Babs needs to STEER clear of her for awhile, mayb even MOOve to another city
The detail is great, the anquish on Kai's face and the sense of victory on Babe's adds to the strength of this scene. Kai really goes through costumes fast, but I am sure Meta Life can pay for newer and better ones
