Hillevi is usually the type of wolf to maintain a realistic outlook on life. She doesn’t allow herself the luxuries of dreaming about the what if’s. Ever so bold, Hillevi is not quick to back down from a challenge. Stubborn as she is, she will proudly hold her ground, and will not hesitate to share her honest opinions. Some may even say she can be a bit too honest, toeing the line of bluntness. Others appreciate her candor and believe they can rely on Hillevi for any advice or opinions.

Being a hard-working member of Stonehaven, Hillevi does not put up with lazy nonsense, her dedicated drive making her quite the workaholic. Once she has made up her mind, this she-wolf is absolutely inflexible. She will not budge from where she stands. Some could see Hillevi quickly working her way up the ranks, maybe even becoming a leader amongst her packmates, but her unamused lack of interest often holds her back. Diligent and full of potential, Hillevi could easily establish herself, but it’s just not what she wants. Bearing that type of responsibility... No thanks. However, that doesn’t stop her from passing her own hard judgment on others that do hold such positions. Hillevi expects refined skills from a wolf that’s ready to accept leadership and holds them to her own very high expectations. Don’t point out her flaws though, because she can and will grow ridiculously defensive, more so if you critique wolves she deeply cares for.

Despite her seemingly strict demeanor, Hillevi is still friendly, sociable, and accepting. She has a lot of love to give, even if she’s not quite sure how to.

History:

Hillevi grew up under the care of Bo and Svanhilde, two very strict and stern parents. Born alongside two sisters, Hill quickly found that her parents showed their love by sharing knowledge. As soon as they could walk, Hillevi and her sisters begun to train. Svanhilde expected perfection out of her daughters. Their mother wanted wise, cunning, and strong daughters. It may seem odd, but the small family made it work, and working so hard together formed a strong bond between them all.

Then, their father started to disappear. First, it was one or two nights a month. Then, Hillevi found herself waking up every night with her father’s place empty.

Words about the red witch had spread like wildfire, and Svanhilde had watched many of her close friends fall prey to the wicked words. Never had she expected that her own mate, her life partner, would also wander into such a foolish trap. Too prideful to admit her mate’s faults, Svanhilde turned a blind eye to her partner’s disloyalty. However, she made it very clear that her daughters were forbidden to attend any meetings regarding magic or the wicked Malaysia, and for the most part Hillevi listened. She wanted nothing more than to make her powerful, inspiring mother proud. She eagerly threw herself into her training and ate up every drop of praise Svanhilde had to give to her.

Eventually, Hillevi couldn’t deny that the curiosity was there. She wasn’t stupid, she knew that these secrets words were what kept her father away for so long. Maybe… maybe if she knew this forbidden information, Hillevi could reconnect with her distant father and rekindle the strong bond that once blazed at the center of their little family. So, in secrets, Hillevi attended a few small meetings. She learned about the promises and mystery Malaysia spoke of. Instead of the joy she had expected to feel, Hillevi found herself extremely disappointed by the information she gathered. All of it sounded like no more than a young pups made-up fantasy, and quite frankly it made her angry. How dare her father abandon their family for such foolish and unreachable goals.

For a long time, Hill wondered what she should do about it. Her mother had taught her better than to sit back and let her father be disloyal.

By the time Hillevi had built the courage to confront her father, it was already too late. The morning she had woken up with determination, her father was already gone. Malaysia and her pupils had massacred the humans on the beach, and that must have included her father… because he never returned.

No one ever really brought it up, but Hillevi couldn’t help but burden herself with guilt. If she had just spoken to her father one day sooner, maybe he wouldn’t have gone. Maybe Bo would still be at her side, proudly watching over his little family. Instead, she had been cowardly and now her father was gone. That day, Hillevi vowed to never hold back again.

Her mother and sisters never spoke about Bo much after that day. It was obvious that everyone had taken it hard, but Sigrid seemed to take it the hardest. At least to Hill, Sigrid seemed to have changed after Bo left. Eventually, everyone continued on with their lives, that’s how they had been raised. Strong wolves didn’t wallow in pity, they got up and pushed forward.

Hillevi also never spoke about her discomfort when magic seemingly began to plague their little island. She had sworn it was all fake, just a web of lies to gain followers, but without an explanation, Hill couldn’t deny the mystical happenings of the island. It baffles and terrifies Hillevi, but the scariest part is her unwavering curiosity. How long will she be able to fight off her desire for knowledge? When the packs split, the entire family followed Yetta to the west, making a home for themselves in Stonehaven.
