This is a contest submission piece featuring character(s) from Darthmanga's Demon Hunter manga.

This is a submission for bullet point number 3 of the contest criteria.

This piece is a double submission for the contest category of "Pets" featuring my favourite characters: Cyril and Jade.

I wanted to go with realistic animals. So my original idea of giving Cyril a tiger cub was scrapped. Instead, I have given her a cat with tiger patterns. The cat has matching eye color with Cyril.

The bottom pictures for each character depict a time skip where the characters and their pets have grown/matured - hopefully both Cyril and Jade have happy endings and live full lives. The time skip is most evident for Jade whose sparrow grows large enough to be a falcon. Cyril's cat becomes a slightly bigger and older cat (it's not like I could change it into a tiger).
