It lacks some features I love in Photoshop, Liquify for example, but it's really great for plain and simple painting!

I only use Photoshop at work for manipulations and grafics, never tried to realy paint with it.

It is great for painting!
There are so many cool brushes made by others and the brush engine is great for creating your own fitting your needs. This combined with the whole lot of manipulation tools and filters makes a great package

I bet it is.
But I dont think that it would pay out for me. I think I am happy with Krita and Gimp and can live without photoshop.
