I sense a difference of proportion in the first and the others perspective.
I would prefer the first one, but that would depend on the context (or mood) you want to present.
Also the cabin could be slightly projected, somehow. Still under the armour, but more noticeable.
In the other hand, if you keep the ship the way it is, it would be a finished product, a change is not needed.

Yah I was thinking about the cabin the same thing, to modify it a bit to be more noticeable, but I will see when I do coloring how it will turn up.

Very original design. are the areas on the sides that look like spiral doors exactly that, or do they serve some other purpose such as add-on points for more engines or weapons?

Yes it's a dropship it has spiral doors on the both sides so whan it land's troops can jump out quickly.
