Every merc in 2fort has some form of insanity or mental illness. For example, Medic has major OCD and the mind of a murderer. Not one of the mercs, not Scout, not Spy, not even his good friend Pyro knew what his form of mental illness is. Well, to him it wasn't mental illness, it was common sense. After all, it was perfectly normal to have a burning desire to KILL and get REVENGE on the one who keeps making a fool out of you in front of everyone and destroys your masterpieces of destruction with a tape recorder. That's perfectly normal. TOTALLY. FREAKING. MOTHER OF TEXAS NORMAL!
"Are you okay, Herr Engineer?" Says Medic behind me. Stay cool. As far as anyone knows, I'm am completely sane.
"Dammit." I say to no one, whilst sitting in the debris of my sentry gun, a piece of the RED Spy's cloth in my hand.
"If you vant, I can ask Herr Sniper if you want the Spy gone."
"Ah appreciate it doc, but I'll get ma gun up and get him myself."
"Vantever suits you, Herr Engineer." Said Medic walking out of our intel room. Revenge burns in me like wildfire.
Sorry, this amazing picture made me make a head cannon that Engie is just as insane as the others, just in a different way.

In my opinion, for what it's worth, he looks good with 2 gloves. Also, wouldn't it be a little more protective when working with his buildings?

Engie has one of the most depressing jobs ever. Eveything he builds gets blown up, shot at, destroyed, and sapped. ALL THE TIME. Poor mini-sentry. but, Teddy Roosebelt makes it all better.
