N--not to be a nitpick, but kimono are crossed left over right ^//^;
On the top character here it's crossed right over left... kimono are only crossed right over left when the person is deceased.. which would mean the top character is a zombie or ghost. (A very gorgeous ghost though!)
Other than that, this is absolutely stunning. Beautiful beyond words.

I love the coloring in that besides creating a general feeling of peacefulness, his cool colors reflect the petals and water/mist and her warm colors reflect the sun-dappled leaves. It is easy to feel the warmth he is resting in even amidst the coolness. My immediate response to this piece is that they are intimate and relaxing together. On my second look and looking at the title, I was wondering if it could also be taken as a literal daydream but is he there daydreaming of her or is she there daydreaming of him ^_^? That is just fun to imagine but the stronger initial feeling is that they are actually there together and the relationship is very sweet and warm.
