1, i wish someone could teach me how to use photoshop qickly but in a way that i can understand with a demonstration.....
2, too bad my photoshop is glitchy and spastic.......T^T

dang..... so how long does it usually take someone to be able to at least make an acceptable picture on photoshop??? *like how long it took you for example!

Oh god, well it really depends on how fast you learn, and the resources you have. At first, without looking anything up online and just knowing how to use photoshop my artwork was terrible, but once you find tutorials and practice a lot, it gets easier
You just need to understand the program, figure out what each tool does learn how to use every tool before trying it out
And yeah that sounds like a huge rip off 
The first version I had was probably cs2, I use cs4 now and I use Paint Tool Sai for lines. I'm pretty sure paint tool sai is awesome for coloring but I can't get my tablet to work with it
It's only like 40 dollars or something cheap if you want to give it a try

Lol there are tons just search it on DA "Sai coloring tutorial" or just look up paint tool sai in the tutorial section!

This tutorial really changed the way I think about shading. Starting with shadows and working your way up to the lighter tones is a really neat technique, and much easier than doing it the other way around. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with everyone!
