Just for fun, I sketched out a wave picture while trying to get it in a very ukiyo-e style. I referanced several pictures while trying to get it just right, including Katsushika Hokusai's 6 views of Mt Fuji. The background turned out ok, so I decided to finish it up by doing a long over due fan pic of Wave from Sonic Riders.Been working hard on commissions, trades, and Christmas stuff, so this is one that was purely for me.
Hope the rest of you enjoy it too.

You obviously know how good this pic is, so I won't bother pointing out all the cool stuff you did. I will, however, say that the paper texture was an unexpected but awesome touch. For my money, this has to be the best picture of Wave anywhere; fanart or pro.
I know it's long overdue, but thank you for letting us use this pic in our gallery at #S-S-S-S-S-Squad !

Oh wow! The style of hokusai really gives this pic oomph. Really good, especially with wave well...catching some high waves. lol, can't get a better combination than that.
