I tend to take photos of flowers and I know how hard it is to get the right light to take a shot such as this.
The way the yellow shows up on the green is magnificent and enchanting. This flower looks as if it came from a different world.
And the background, oh my. On the right you have day and on the left you have night. It makes the flower look as if it's in between night and day, and that is also quite hard to capture.
While many people take pictures of flowers not many can get a shot like this to actually work out.

The contrasting colours are tasteful and excellent. I enjoy the fact the main focus of the image is a warm colour, while the background is compose of mostly cool colours.
The background itself looks like it was done entirely digital, which also adds a unique flair. I'm not entirely sure about my feelings on the background other than the colours however. While the fact it looks digital is cool, something about the fact it was so hard for me to realize this was a photograph caught me off guard?
The way you captured the flower in a way it posesses a papery translucense is also enjoyable. I love how defined the textures of the individual dips in the petals are, as well as how the shadows dip into or glide over those individual indents.

Beautiful. I can actually see it on the background of most computers. The darkness in the background enhances the bright yellow colors. I love how in the upper right corner it looks like a shimmering glow. It's kind of mystical. On the left it seems like a forest? Maybe? A paradise beyond the grave sort of thing? Fabulous. A remarkable flower to pick, no less.
The daffodil is a symbol of rebirth. So in a sense this could have some powerful meaning to it. Depending on where your mind roams, know what I mean?
It's a remarkable piece.
