The atmosphere in this photo is splendid. Dark and melancholic. One can almost feel the dampness in the air and hear the sounds from the street.
The color balance and contrast is in perfect harmony and one can easy relate to the picture. I can easily remember when I walked trough the city in a weather like this. For me though, a scenery like this isn't sad or depressing. This is what I love. The smell of damp asphalt, the slight fogginess from the ground, the sound from tires splashing water, the clouded sky, the raindrops hitting my hoodie and most of all that calmness it brings for me.
I would like to have seen the headlights/taillights shone more intently on the cars though. For me it would have given it that extra edge.

Hey Wolfy-89 , thank you for your continued support for my stuff and also thank you for a wonderful critique. I can honestly say that I do like a lot about a wet and muggy day like we are having in DC right now. It is cold and windy though which is terrible...but once you get past that there is something about how the atmosphere feels.
