I don't know if there are way too many colours in one place here, but if there is then I'm not sure how to fix it since the characters look so different. I'm trying to match some of the colours in both characters, but it's difficult.(The cat was an adopt from huffermingo.deviantart.com/ )

This looks cool. To add contrast you could try mixing complimentary colors to do one less pastel. Just a thought, pastels are cool also

I'll look into that, thanks. I think I did rely a little too heavily on Pastel colours, especially on Pam (The first one) so that could definitely help. Thanks!

Hi, I've been considering what you've said, as although I am a fan of pastel colours it makes the character pretty difficult to draw in pretty much any situation. I have tried messing around with different shades of the same complimentary colours (However a little more saturated, and more of an olive green and purple-red as her main colours, although I have kept the brown of the skirt) and I have a little sketched result, which I am much happier with

looks cool. I was planning on buying some markers and try that for some new drawings instead of the black and white graphite. i ordered and it might get to my house in two weeks. i'd like to try new things. i still can't and won't do digital art anymore. maybe marker colors might make them look different.
