Description
I'm sorry, still have no internet .... forgive meeeeeeThe main problem mother is that you are using internet explorer (she has firefox now I think....). My favourite computer adventure my mum had was when she lost the cursor and panicked. They were good times.

Thankfully my mother doesn't do this. She does, however, fuck up her computer in new and interesting ways.

Oh my goodness.. So many toolbars and adds.
I wonder how many people share this experience. I had the exact same problems with my mom! And... and the little mouse is gone adventure... mine still does it sometimes even though she's been using a computer for two years now. She still doesn't know how to operate it.. I can't even....

Oh my god, I hate it when people have that many toolbars. eDe It's so ugly, and it takes up so much room on the screen.
Butsrsly, good job on this and stuff. :3

One reason why I don't trust using other people's computers when I absolutely need to.
But luckily my dad knows a lot about computers.

we all use Macs, so it's usually pretty difficult for my technologically-challenged mother to fuck things up.
though she does for some reason have a lot of trouble figuring out how to manage more than one window at a time...

Reminds me once when my Grandma was trying to play Solitaire on one of my old computers. The mouse pointer was at the far edge of the screen, and she tried moving the monitor to the side.
Thankfully, once she'd done it, she realised what she'd done.

This is my mother with Facebook apps.....
My mother: "Why is all these things writing in my status and spamming me all the time?"
Me: "Okay lets see. Apps..... Okay if you press this x and then agree to move them, they won't spam you anymore. So do you need this?"
Mom: "No."
Me: "This?"
Mom"No."
*After 15 apps I scrolled down and noticed the scrolling line on the right side of the screen was tiny as hell*
Me: "MOM! You do know you have like 500 apps right?"
Mom:" But I rarely touch anything!"
Me: "Well you got 500 so you much get your hands in the cookie jar ALOT! And you got yourself into this mess and you gotta remove them all by yourself. I showed you how and I aint doing all the dirty work. It will take a week this way"
Mom: "Oh okay."
*I did sense she got sad and I kissed her on the cheeck*

This sounds like my dad. When he goes on the computer my mom or I have to be in the room or close by so that we can hear him when he calls for help to open up a new tab or go back to a previous screen. At least he can use a cell phone. My mom can't use one to save her life.

I seem to fit in this group of people whose mothers don't get on with computers well... And I remember that when seeing blue screen on her computer once again, I mentioned getting a Linux as an "unscrewable" alternative. She thought it was web browser at first, and after really short explanation she was all like "I see... so how do you call tha--- antivirus it is?" But luckily, nowadays it's mostly my brother who does all her computer fixing

Heck, just the other day my aunt asked why her computer was running so slow. Turns out the thing is probably eleven years old.

LMFAO! My mother does the same stuff... and won't listen to me when I tell her "DO NOT DOWNLOAD "FUN THINGS" YOUR OTHER OLD LADY FRIENDS SEND YOU VIA EMAIL!" But she does it anyway and what happens?
Mother: The computer is dead. It's a blue screen with some code on it. Fix it.
Me: You were downloading virus e-mails again weren't you?
Mother: My friends do not send virus's. They're just funny pictures.
Me: Yes, like this blue screen is a funny picture to me.
The amount of times I've had to reinstall windows or... just go out and buy a whole new computer for her. :/
Argh and the time I put anti-virus software on. She took it off because it kept showing her pop-ups telling her to stop doing things. -_-
