Oh my god, this is perfect! I'm a writer and I periodically trawl through deviantArt trying to find anything that catches my attention. I was wondering if I might be able to use this as a sort of reference? I'd definitely give credit to you on my website.

Oh, I wanted to use the building structure for an outer-space military base in one of my stories. Sounds crazy and dumb and you probably wouldn't want to be associated with something like that, but I can give you somewhat of a reference for what the story is about. I've been through your gallery (amazing stuff, by the way) and your Artemis Fowl art is what made me find you in the first place. The story I'm writing is a crossover between Artemis Fowl and Dead Space, so it's not a kiddy, funny, happy-go-lucky story that Artemis Fowl fans are used to. If you don't know what Dead Space is, I suggest you go buy the game RIGHT NOW, LOL! It is definitely scary, graphic, and can probably give you lots of artistic ideas from the realistic, gory aliens that try and kill you through the entire game. I don't know if inspiration for artists are even REMOTELY the same as inspiration for writers, but this game definitely gave me the heebie-jeebies enough to cross it over with my favorite book series.

But if you'll allow me to use it, I'll even shoot you another link of the actual story, if you're interested; Although I don't know why an artist would be interested in a story, LOL, but more power to you, I suppose:

Actually that sounds pretty awesome! and thank you! I'm glad you liked my Artemis Fowl stuff. Hahaha yeah I've heard of Dead Space and watched gameplay, but I don't play too many games myself, it's definitely inspiring though especially for an entertainment designer like myself; I'm all about stories, games, films etc!!
Well I'm glad my artwork looks like something you yourself would have imagined from your book! You can definitely use it and it would be great if I could read the story sometime!
