Description My take on the Nautilus for 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The submarine is surveying and cruising through a submerged city. After many years the sea level has risen leaving cities like this abandoned underwater all across the globe.

Still some things I want to fix, so I'll reupload later

Very cool looking, but can you imagine the DRAG?  What a wake, too -- enough to roil any thermocline one might skulk under. 

They say that with enough thrust you can forget about aerodynamics -- or hydrodynamics in this case.   I'm guessing those engines on the sides are something special.

thanks haha and yeah! I got the same comment from my teacher when I submitted some designs a few weeks back, I wasn't able to address the issue though. My excuse is that this thing moves very slow lol

Well, just in case an explanation might help in class...

Those who believe is "USO's" (Unidentified Submerged Objects) claim they move by means of a "hydrodynamic field" that makes the ocean move around a bubble of unmoving water around the ship, virtually eliminating drag.  I balk at the idea, but if it worked then shape and drag are no longer connected.

What if the things on the side just generate power, but the fins and stuff sticking out -- and the blunt thing in front -- actually generate said field?  You could get away from the drag problem and explain the funky design in one (crackpot) theory.
