I've got a blue lovebird. He's very social but loves to bite fingers and yank on earrings, which was quite the problem when I first got my ears pierced. 
If I may ask, what kind of pets have you had? I love hearing about people's animals

I've had cats, a dog, tortoises, goldfishes, Siamese betta fishes, aquarium snails, bunnies, a hamster, guinea pigs, and there were always a least a dog and a cat in the family as well (I even had a pony when I was young, but it's has very irresponsible from my mother, and it was resold :/)

(I just realize that tortoise and turtle aren't the same thing xD, the species I used ta have was Red-eared slider )
Yes tortoises are super fun, but I think now there illegal to sell/buy (in France) because some dumb people release them in the wild and they reproduce... a lot :/ )
