That's a fascinating story, actually. Leeron is replaced by Rotor the Walrus from Sonic SatAM, but I didn't realise that one of the comic writers meant to make Rotor a homosexual until after I'd written that first chapter he appeared in. I don't present Rotor in the same sort of "campy gay" way that Leeron was, but he fulfills the same role as a mechanic and an engineer.
Also, Viral is portrayed by Shadow, and Rossiu by Silver.

Good choice with Rotor too. I didn't knew this about him really... So thank you for the interesting information. Then yes, he fits Leeron's role even better! Because it's hard to find character with so flirty and smart nature (except Rouge) for this role... Sometimes I think about Leeron's behaviour like about just sort of... Remedy against boredom (Genius with a drop of "flirty" madness, you know), but still. Mechanic's role for mechanic.

The Black Siblings was actually a tricky issue, because there aren't really any groups of siblings that I can think of in any of the Sonic universes who are not at each other's throats. So, I made the decision to make them all (Kittan, Kiyoh, Kinon, Kiyal) portrayed by characters who fit their roles by personality rather than by blood. Knuckles in place of Kittan, Meg (Sally's sister-in-law) as Kiyoh, Blaze as Kinon, and Marine as Kiyal.
