im just starting out using color in photoshop, just a quick q, do u paint it in grayscale 1st and then add color?

Yes, I deal with volumes and lights and shadows first... then comes the colors and adjustments.

Last question if you don't mind...How do you go about putting on color on your grayscale? Do you just paint over it or...?

Depend on the piece...
I barely knew the subject and the character when I started it, so I had to do some researches and find the good scenery for it. Thats why I've made some sketches in greyscale.

I'm french too, guess I'll comment your stuffs in french next time^^ But yes, each of your pieces always impress me just as much. If shows that you spend a lot of time working on those, and probably have great equipment.
